New Music Wednesday! 40 Rockin' Running Songs
For many of us, music literally translates to “energy”. The right music can make you feel unstoppable… and the wrong music can make you feel like going back to bed. This week’s album is more on the “unstoppable” side, but you’ll have to take a listen and see what you think.
When you look at the songs in this album, you’ll notice two things:
1) the song selection rocks
2) the bpm gradually picks up over the course of the album
If you’ve never tried working out to a bpm-building playlist, then set a goal to try this one today! Simply push play and go with the flow. As each song increases (ever so slightly) in tempo, you’ll innately start going faster - cuz you “have” to keep up with the beat, right? ;) Soon, you could find yourself reaching new limits thanks to the steadily increasing bpm in the background.
This is a pretty long album, so if you’re looking for a shorter workout playlist, just skip ahead to the next song that feels like it’s working for you (by the way, that changes on a daily basis for most of us). As you skip ahead, the bpm will gradually increase and push you a bit harder. My favorite combination is:
- Hey Mama (135 bpm)
- Cheerleader (136 bpm)
- Five More Hours (140 bpm)
- GDFR (143 bpm)
- Shut Up And Dance (151 bpm)
- Uma Thurman (164 bpm)
- Warriors (166 bpm *this is the best!!!)
As always, lolo will cover your bpm matching… if you’re doing a lolo workout, just add the playlist, start your workout, and lolo will take care of the rest by adjusting the bpm to match your activity.
Listen to a couple tracks (Warrior!). I’m pretty sure you’re gonna love this album ;) #keepingitfresh #newmusicrocks
