New Music Wednesday: Summer Rock!

There’s no better time to add “School’s Out For Summer” to your workout playlist. This pumped up version is set at 155 beats per minute - the perfect beat to run a steady 6 mph; a 10-minute mile pace; or to pedal your heart out at 75 rpm on the bike or elliptical. If you haven’t made a conscientious effort to literally “run to the beat” (or walk, cycle, pedal, etc) then seize the moment and try it today! Think of it as a 99-cent opportunity to see if moving to a new beat makes you feel like a rockstar. When your body is in sync with the beat that feeling of perfect harmony makes you feel stronger… making something hard feel more doable.

With lolo, every workout has beat-sync technology. We take the guesswork out of “which bpm is right?”, but we can’t physically make you keep up to the beat. That part is all you. It’s common for people to ignore the beat and just work at a comfortable pace. But “comfortable” isn’t where fitness goals are achieved. Comfortable isn’t where our bodies rally to get stronger and become more efficient. So if you feel comfortable in your workout, it’s time to pedal/step a little bit faster.

The challenge is simple: are you really moving to the beat? Is every step on… the… beat…? If not, try it! And make sure you get something good like “School’s Out For Summer”. Good, fast workout music (>150 bpm) is like caffeine… for your feet! ;) Take a listen. #keepingitfresh
