I'm a big fan of the low-carb diet. Not only has it been shown to be more effective than a low-fat diet, but it bestows many additional health benefits over a typical diet. This essential fatty acid not only has been shown to help reduce body fat while maintaining muscle, but it also offers a ton of additional health benefits such as protecting against cardiovascular disease and cancer, improving bone mass, and reducing inflammation. It was once part of our diet before the rise of factory farming, so I recommend it to most people even if they aren’t trying to lose weight.
